Gerry offers business development, finance, training and communication skills and capability to a range of businesses. He has a detailed knowledge of the Irish and international financial services and software sectors; the Irish education system and the Irish charity sector.

Gerry initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Financial Services sector. Moving to financial software, Gerry developed a consulting unit for one of Ireland’s largest software entities. He subsequently set up and grew a banking software company – selling within Europe and into EMEA. After a successful sale to a US multinational, Gerry was retained as Managing Director of its Irish subsidiary and Sales Director for EMEA and India.

Recent activities include:

  • Executive recruitment and coaching – as a Senior Manager in the Executive Resourcing Division of PWC.
  • Business development in the charity sector – as Head of Fundraising for LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
